JavaScript

This website is static. If anything moves, changes, or responds to you, JavaScript is probably behind it.

The core content of the site works without JavaScript, but here's where it's used:

1. Pageview stats and kudos tracking via Tinylytics, a GDPR-compliant, privacy-first analytics tool. No cookies or personally identifiable data are stored.
2. The guestbook fetches and displays comments from a public Google Sheet.
3. The theme switcher toggles between light and dark modes, and updates related visuals and emojis.
4. The “last played” music feed pulls current data from Last.fm.
5. A small particle trail follows your cursor (if enabled).
6. Some experiments use JavaScript for interactivity and dynamic content.
